Caden Loves the Latin Ladies!

Today at the Monon Center waterpark Caden met a very lovely little girl named Lucia. It didn't matter that the two of them didn't share the same language...there was an instant connection! Seriously though, Caden and this little girl walked around together ALL day holding hands. It was so stinkin' cute. Her mom & dad have only been here for one year from Mexico, and said Lucia doesn't even speak any English yet.

She also had a sister who tried to play with Eli, but of course, he hit her for taking his sand bucket and spent most of the morning in time-out.

Weekend at Grandma & Grandpa's

The boys and I just returned from an action packed weekend at Grandma & Grandpa Ringger's house. We have to fill our time with something while Jerome is gone, and can't think of a better way than spending it with my crazy family. We had a campfire, went swimming in the lake (complete w/ redneck homemade waterslide), played with cousins, etc. The boys had a great time and I did too...I convinced all my siblings & their spouses to play games after the kids went to bed, so of course, this was my favorite part. :)

So now we are just counting down the days until Daddy gets home...the boys are tired of me already!

What a fun day!

We had the greatest night tonight! Just got back from an action packed trip downtown. We started with a picnic before and Indians Game, but then only made it thru about 20 minutes of the actual game before the boys started getting restless. They enjoyed the walk to and from the truck better than the game...stopping at every statue and fountain on the way though. We also had a surprise when we spotted the Good Year blimp at the small airport by our house, so of course we pull over for one more stop.

Daddy leaves us tomorrow for a 4day business trip to Atlanta, so say a prayer for safe travels. We will miss you!!

Fingerpaint & Friends

Alight, well our cable is out and they are not coming to fix it until Friday...so we are trying to be creative this week, which is not an easy task with boys. We had our neighbor friend Elle over today for some playtime and they had a great time fingerpainting! Of course, little miss Elle's picture is a beautiful arrangement w/ her name perfectly printed neatly in the corner. My boys decided the painting on paper was just not quite exciting enough and took to painting the table and each other...sigh.
