Boys

Recent conversation heard in the living room:

Caden: OW!!! Eli kicked me in the face!

Eli: Well, why you leave your teeth open?

Caden: Well, you shouldn't kick people in the face!

Eli: Well, you should close your teeth.

Disney

Well the Adams Family traveled to Disney again this spring, and I do have to say it was the best and smoothest trip to date. We were incident free even going thru the airports and I honestly cannot remember one major meltdown any day at the parks. We stayed at the Animal Kingdom Lodge, which was awesome. The hotel rooms face the "savannah" where all different kinds of animals roam free. We would go out on our little patio and have giraffes, zebra, antelope, buffalo thingys, all right next to us. The boys LOVED it. They also enjoyed that the rooms had bunk beds so that was pretty cool too. Jerome took no lie probably 200+ pictures, but I have narrowed it down to a few of my favorites. The BEST part of the trip is that Eli finally is 40 inches tall and that opened a new world as far as rides. Pretty much the boys could almost every single ride there....and we forced them too. Caden was out little scaredy cat and we would definitely have to bribe him to do the scarier ones, but Eli loved them all. Caden's short list of questions everytime we brought up a new ride was this: Are they going to turn out the lights? Does it go fast? What will be my prize if I go on it? I started bring toy cars from our hotel room and sticking them in a disney sack for recycled "prizes". Anyway, enjoy the pictures and sorry I haven't updated lately!

Love, Lacey

Just arrived at the hotel, having a late dinner before bed...Thumbs up, we are excited!
The view off our hotel room patio...

A rare moment...

Caden & Tigger

Eli & Piglet

He looks like Grandpa Ringger...oinery smile and breaking the rules getting behind the rope

The boys in their bunk beds...

Caden loved his new goggles so much, he was convinced he needed them in the bathtub too

Jerome & Caden getting ready for the next ride...don't you think they look alike here? Well, except for the blonde hair & light skin, of course!

Disney really must be magical, because I can't believe how much they are hugging in these pictures!

Swim Lessons

Poor Eli, he REALLY hates swim lessons. I kept thinking they would get better, but it just keeps getting worse. The mean mom in me secretly thinks it's a little funny how he sits on the side of pool with his pathetic looking expression. Every time we leave the class he tells me that "he NEVER wants to do that again!". Anyway, today I thought I would share some pictures from the very traumatic experience...

Feeling optimistc before they start, even giving me a thumbs up!

Wait a minute, you don't think I am going in there, do you?

Waiting his turn, so skinny and cold

This is pretty much the facial expression he keeps during the whole class, well except for when it's his turn and then he is screaming "Mommy, Mommy, Mommy" and crying at the top of lungs

Begging me to get out...

"I can't take this anymore!"

Class almost over, eyes all puffy and red. Poor boy :(

Before we even left the pool, he started telling me the same thing that he does every week...

Caden Michael

Caden had his first big "drop off" birthday party last week for his buddy Tyler's 4th birthday. The boys had so much fun and I love this picture of them. Can't believe how big they are all getting!

Finally...a snowman!!!!

We finally have the right kind of snow to build a snowman! Of course, it just happens to be the day before it's supposed to be 50 degrees, so I guess he will not be around long...but it was fun anyway.

And the fun continues...

You know I must be getting a little stir-crazy around here...two posts in one day! Well, we did venture outside and were very disappointed to find out that it was not the right kind of snow for a snowman family...although we did try over and over again. But the boys still have fun walking around, shoveling paths, filling up their dump trucks and trying to clean the deck off. I can't believe how much snow is out there! Here are some pictures!

The boys trudging thru the snow...

Caden falling down out by the mailbox...obviously the snow plows have not been thru our neighborhood yet!

Eli trying to shovel the driveway

This is Caden. He begged me to tape this pillow to his back so he could "be a scuba diver". I'm not sure how having a Lightning McQueen pillow duct taped to your back makes you a diver, but what the heck. Actually, now that I am looking at the picture again...I bet he thinks that is an air tank or something. Hmm, funny that I just figured that out.
