Happy 1/2 Birthday!

Hi my name is Amelia Ann and I turned 6 months yesterday! Just a few important things about me are that I am almost sitting up by myself, and I am finally sleeping about 10-11 hours in a row at night! If I am awake, I really only like to be on someone's hip and if you try to lay me down I will politely let you know how much I dislike that idea. I really don't care to eat babyfood, but I really like my bottles. I am totally in love with my daddy, and my brothers crack me up all the time!!

Okay, I showed the boys this post and Caden was not happy that I didn't show any of his "moves" on the video. So when I went back and looked again, there actually were not any videos showing his best moves....but this one cracked me up. Eli is just so goofy.

Millie's Baptism, Adams Visit & More

It has been way too long since I have updated...just so busy around here! Summer is almost here and I am hoping things slow down a bit finally. This is the last week of school for Caden and he could not be happier. He has his little graduation ceremony tonight, so I will be sure to post some pictures in about 6 months. lol



Most recent happenings in our house is that we had Jerome's parents for a visit last weekend and we had Millie baptized. It was a wonderful experience and Millie smiled and talked thru the whole thing. She was so cute. We shared the special day with our best friends Drew & Latefe, who are Millie's God Parents. Their youngest son Grant was also baptized and Jerome is the Godfather for Grant. I think we confused the priest a little with all the crossover...parents vs. Godparents, but we figured it all out and it was very nice. Oh, and we received the most original baptism gift ever! Drew & Latefe brew wine at home as a hobby and they made me a case of "Millie Chardonnay" to help us remember the day! So cool!!

Millie - 3 Months

Here are a few of our favorite shots from Millie's 3 month pictures! She is doing great...sleeping a good 8-9 hours in a row at night and just rolled over for the first time this past weekend. She has a huge toothless smile that she flashes at anyone that will talk to her. The boys are doing great with her too...they honestly could not love their little sister anymore. They are so proud and protective of her, I love it!

A rare occurrence...

Caden is taking piano lessons and has been trying to very patiently teach Eli what he learns each week. Although, I have to admit, Eli is not a very good student. Anyway, here was one moment that I caught when they were actually getting along and working together....

Super Bowl

So I just realized that i had not put any pictures up from our recent trip down to Miami for the Super Bowl. Jerome, Millie & I made the trip while Mom & Dad kept the boys (thank you!). We had a GREAT time even though the Colts didn't win. We met a group of friends there and just people watched all weekend. Jerome went to the game and Millie hung out in the hotel and watched it on TV!

In the bumbo seat...2 months old

Millie spent some time today in her bumbo seat thingy that Ginger loaned me. Surprisingly she loved it, and was all smiles! Can't believe she is 2 months old already. Her biggest accomplishment lately is that she slept THRU the night last night..I mean like almost 12 hours, which is AWESOME!
